After getting clean on the streets of Red Deer, Derick built Recovery Starts to connect people with the resources that actually work: free meetings, the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, and community.

Recovery Einstein — our AI-powered Big Book companion app — was born from a simple idea: the Big Book should be accessible to everyone, and AA doctrine should be preserved exactly as written, not filtered through the treatment industry.
