A PATH TO FAITH
Recovery Einstein's Big Book perspective on the AA Daily Reflection for February 7.
Faith in AA isn't about blind belief — it's a path we walk one step at a time. The Big Book says, "We found that as soon as we were able to lay aside prejudice and express even a willingness to believe in a Power greater than ourselves, we commenced to get results" [Page 46]. This is the path: start with willingness, not certainty. For many of us, faith grew as we acted — we "acted as if" until belief became real [Page 57]. The path to faith is paved with small acts of trust: sharing at a meeting, praying when you don't believe, doing the next right thing. It's a journey, not a leap.
What is one small step of willingness you can take today to strengthen your faith, even if you're not sure what you believe yet?
