This is an in depth review of the Big Book. Starting from the cover page through the first 164 pages. This is a great opportunity for: - Sponsors to take their Sponsees through a guided review of the steps based in the Big Book. - Beginners to find a Sponsor with an in depth knowledge of the steps and the Big Book. - Individuals to learn how to take someone through the steps in the Big Book. This is an open forum where questions and experiences are welcome at any time as we are going through the book. Handouts and worksheets will be provided free of charge. You will need to bring the following: - Your own copy of the Big Book – We will be marking these up during the meeting. - Highlighters – Green, Yellow, Orange - Pen or Pencil - An Open Mind. Continued attendance through the full rotation is preferred but not required. Come as you can. Bottled water, coffee and additional refreshments will be served.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no dues or fees, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
