Notes
For those who are dually diagnosed with addiction as well as Trauma and Health/disabilities. Alcoholics Anonymous Recovery with Challenges (AARC) is dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals recovering from alcoholism who also face challenges related to mental and physical health, including trauma and chronic conditions. We meet every Sunday at 1 pm MST on Zoom to listen to a speaker share their own story or read a story from AA-approved literature that focuses on our needs. Relevant topics are discussed during the sharing portion of the meeting.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no dues or fees, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
