We began in the Houston area, Texas. The first Saturday of the month is our Traditions Study. The second Saturday of the month is a 30 minute speaker (followed by discussion) meeting. All other meetings are discussion topic meetings. We have a sobriety span of 1 day to 56 years of sobriety.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no dues or fees, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
