"Conference-Approved" simply identifies material published by AA World Services, the official publisher of AA literature. The General Service Conference does not disapprove of other literature.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no dues or fees, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
