“Closed” means the meeting is for people who have — or think they may have — a drinking problem. Newcomers are welcome.
Notes
We read one step a month on the first Friday of the month, according to the month. Tradition on the last Friday of the month. We read the big book on the Friday's in between. Enter on Lake St. up wooden staircase. Chips on last Friday. Food and drinks allowed. Tea, coffee and sweets are provided. No dogs allowed.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no dues or fees, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
