Meeting format is to read from the book Alcoholics Anonymous for about 30 minutes. We then open the meeting for discussion on the night's reading. LAST FRIDAY of the month is a chip and speaker meeting. We recognize various lengths of sobriety, then an A.A. member shares for about 20 minutes. The speaker then suggests a topic for open discussion. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no dues or fees, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
